Speaking as Walter Jon Williams' wife, I would like to think he is not THAT obscure.

His latest book, IMPLIED SPACES, is just out from NightShade Press. His next book will be THIS IS NOT A GAME from Orbit.

Walter and I thoroughly agree with you that ARISTOI is an outstanding book which did not get the attention it deserved. It would be lovely to have it back in print.

Thank you so much for commenting on my entry. The reason I wrote that Walter Jon Williams has gone into obscurity is simply this: Every time I have gone looking for his books in major bookstores, I have been unable to find them. I don't know if it's because the bookstore isn't carrying them and you have to order them or that his books sell out. I wish I had never given up my copy of ARISTOI.

I checked out the synopsis for IMPLIED SPACES, and it sounds like something I would enjoy reading. I will put it on my "to buy" list. I have not read a good science fiction book in a long time.
